Ronald William "Bud" Keeling

Ronald William “Bud” Keeling, 69, of Perrysville, passed away 12:06 pm Thursday August 25, 2011 at I.U. Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He was born April 9, 1942 in Covington the son of Glen and Bertha (Towell) Keeling. He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Sharon Warrick; an infant daughter, Wendy Renee Keeling. He married Linda Dunivan on June 28, 1997 in Danville, IL; she survives. Also surviving is a sister, Mary Kay (Pat) Carlson, Kokomo, IN; his children, Rhonda (Tim) Hall, of Covington; Jeff (Jessica) Keeling, of Westville, IL; Brenda (John) Wood, of Washington; step-daughter, Stefanie (Bill) Boger, of Camby, IN; grandchildren, Cory Keeling, Ashley (Jonathan) Hardwick, Meghan Hall, Kelsey Hall, Blake Hall, Damon Lamar, Keirsten Lamar, Samuel Boger, Christopher Boger, Matthew Boger, and a great-grandson Damian Goelz. Ron graduated from Veedersburg High School in 1961. He was employed at Heat Craft, retiring after 34 years. He enjoyed the outdoors and tending to his yard, Nascar, visiting with his friends, and he was actively involved in AA. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. Ron was a liver transplant survivor that he received in 2007. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm (EDT) Monday August 29, 2011 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Pastor Greg McDonald officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am (EDT) Monday and continue until the time of service. Interment at Rockfield Cemetery near Veedersburg. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to American Heart Association, American Lung Association, or the American Liver Foundation.
