Daniel Parke McMahan

Daniel Parke McMahan, 60, of Veedersburg, died at his residence 10:00 am Monday September 26, 2011. He was born September 26, 1951 in Crawfordsville, Indiana the son of Ivan V. and Dorothy L. (Crowder) McMahan. He married his wife Corinna G. McMahan October 10, 1987 in Hillsboro. Surviving family include his wife Corinna McMahan, Veedersburg; a brother Larry (Freda) McMahan, Veedersburg; two sisters, Stella (Harold) Coleman, Rockville; Beulah (William) White, Darlington, IN; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, a half-sister, and a nephew. Daniel attended Turkey Run High School, and had been employed at RR Donnelley in Crawfordsville up until the mid 1990’s. He was an avid hunter who enjoyed hunting both deer and small game. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday September 30, 2011 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg. Interment at Rush Creek Cemetery near Tangier Indiana. Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday September 29, 2011 at Dickerson Funeral Home.
