Madeline J. Neef

Madeline J. “Maddie” Neef, 77, of Veedersburg, died 12:20 am Saturday April 7, 2012 at St Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette, IN. Mrs. Neef was born October 15, 1934 in Oregon the daughter of Joseph A. and Mary V. (Keller) Grimes. She married Carl Neef June 20, 1987 in Veedersburg. Surviving family include her husband, Carl Neef, Veedersburg; a son, Steve J. (Trish) Keller, Bridgeport, IN; a brother Virgil Keller, Oregon; step-children, Rusty (Amanda) Neef, Williamsport, IN; and Carla (Rick) Barnhart, Lafayette, IN; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her twin sons, Terry & Derry Keller, a daughter, Mari Jo Keller, a sister, and a brother. Maddie was a member of the Veedersburg Church of the Nazarene. She had been employed by G.E. in Danville, IL; retiring in 1991. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Wednesday April 11, 2012 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Pastor Tom Hunter officiating.
