Mona Lea Craig, 85, of Veedersburg, passed away 2:55 pm Saturday May 1, 2012 at Williamsport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Craig was born November 8, 1926 in Dundee Florida the daughter of Guy and Lucretia (Miller) Smith. She married Donald Gene Craig December 2, 1945 in Veedersburg. Surviving family include her husband, Donald Gene Craig; two daughters, Bonnie Morton and Kathy (Doug) Pugh; all of Veedersburg; two grandchildren, Amber Harden & Troy Pugh; four great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Pugh, Orion Pugh, Josey Harden & Cassidy Harden. Mona was a member of the First Christian Church in Veedersburg, and the American Quarter Horse Association in Amarillo, TX. She operated the Veedersburg Floral Shop for nearly 20 years, and was a saleslady for Electrolux sweepers in the area for close to 25 years. Memorial service will be 6:00 pm Saturday May 5, 2012 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg. Visitation will begin at 4:00 pm Saturday and continue until the time of service. Burial will be at Kingman Fraternal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the American Alzheimer’s Association. Online condolences at www.dickersonfuneralhome.com
