Marlon L Brown

Marlon L. “Brownie” Brown, 76, of Veedersburg, died Sunday August 26, 2012 at St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mr Brown was born December 30, 1935 near Fithian Illinois the son of Ray and Bertha (Shonkwilder) Brown. He married Janet Florey April 29, 1959 in Veedersburg; she preceded him in death May 22, 2003. He is also preceded in death by a daughter Eugenia Sue Brown; and two sisters, Ester Meer and Lucille Douglas. Surviving family include nieces & nephews, Jodi (David) Leek, Veedersburg; Tom Wilson, Zionsville; Ron (Joann) Florey, Columbus, OH; Michelle Florey Oakes, Crawfordsville. Marlon graduated from Fithian High School and been employed by Harrison Steel and Steel Grip. He enjoyed gardening and setting on his front porch visiting with his friends. Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Friday August 31, 2012 at Rockfield Cemetery with Pastor Michael Trusty officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg.
