Vivian Duvall

Vivian Duvall, 91, of Danville and formerly of Veedersburg, died 2:35pm Tuesday November 6, 2012 at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home in Danville IL. Mrs. Duvall was born March 15, 1921 in Veedersburg the daughter of Edward R. and Lillie Bell (Hall) Dobbs. She married William R Duvall Jr. in 1958, he preceded her in death in 1989. She is also preceded in death by 14 brothers and sisters. Surviving family include a son Jay Kell, Tilton, IL; a daughter, Janet Page, Ceres, CA; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was a member of Mt Carmel Baptist Church near Covington. Through the years Vivian enjoyed setting on her porch visiting with the neighbors, watching soap operas, and was always looking for opportunities to help others. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 pm (EST) Sunday November 11, 2012 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg. Funeral service will be 2:00pm (EST) Monday November 12, 2012 at the funeral home with Visitation beginning at 1:00 pm. Pastor Curt Darling will be officiating.
