Mary A Craig

Mary A. Craig, 71, of Waynetown, passed away 1:40 am Saturday November 2, 2013 at Lane House Nursing Center in Crawfordsville, IN. Mary was born July 5, 1942 in Kingman, IN the daughter of Roy J. and Hallie L. (Stembaugh) Carter. She married Marion Lucas Craig December 19, 1961 in Attica IN, he preceded her in death June 4, 2005. Surviving family include a son, Mark (Hilary) Craig, New Richmond; a sister, Nellie Sheridan, Waynetown; a brother Howard (Martha) Carter, Veedersburg; three grandchildren, Trevor, Noah & Jackson Craig, all of New Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and two brothers, Jim Carter and Jack Carter. Mary graduated from Kingman High School, and had retired from Pace Dairy in Crawfordsville after many years of employment. She enjoyed her many cats. She loved and enjoyed her grandchildren very much. Mary was also an avid bargain hunter. Graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday November 5, 2013 at Rockfield Cemetery near Veedersburg with Pastor Gary Johnson officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather and visit at 3:30 pm Tuesday November 5, at the Church of God in Veedersburg following the service. Dickerson Funeral Home entrusted with services.
