Janet Potts, 72, of Veedersburg, passed away 9:45 am Monday November 25, 2013 at the Waters of Covington. Mrs Potts was born March 3, 1941 in Elliottville, KY the daughter of Glen and Gertrude (Lambert) Blankenbeckler. She married Charles F. Potts July 13, 1957 in Hammond, IN. Surviving family include her husband, Charles F Potts, Veedersburg; three sons, Charles K. Potts, Veedersburg, Larry (Melinda) Potts, Williamsport; Michael (Pamela) Potts, Williamsport; nine siblings, Loretta Gray, Madeira, OH; Denzil (Jo Ellen) Blankenbeckler, Williamsport; Vee Wampler, Wheatfield, IN; Leroy (Teresa) Blankenbeckler, Veedersburg; Linda (Jerry) Brock, Covington; John (Kerry) Blankenbeckler, Danville IL; Ron (Chris) Blankenbeckler, Veedersburg, Roger Blankenbeckler, Veedersburg, Kenny (Judy) Blankenbeckler, Veedersburg; six grandchildren, Ashley Potts, Stephanie (Eric) Houmes, Tyler Heyn, Evan Potts, Ethan Potts, and Elizabeth Potts. She is preceded in death by a grandson Tyler Potts, two sisters, Bobbi Shoap and Katherine Gray, and her parents. Janet’s life mainly revolved around her family; she loved and enjoyed her many family members and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and crocheting for them over the years. Janet also enjoyed going out to eat and working in her flower gardens. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday November 27, 2013 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Steve Pearce officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am Wednesday and continue until the time of Service at 2:00pm. Burial will be at West Lebanon Cemetery. Online condolences at www.dickersonfuneralhome.com
