Judith Dale "Judy" Lightle

Judith Dale “Judy” Lightle, 70, of Veedersburg, passed away 3:20 pm Thursday February 20, 2014 at Brownsburg Meadows Nursing Home in Brownsburg, IN. Judy was born December 6, 1943 in Harrisburg PA the daughter of Vearney W. and Eleanor Jane (Beattie) Moschel. She married Jackie Derold “Jack” Lightle October 6, 1961 at the Bethel Park Presbyterian Church in Pennsylvania, where she was a member. Surviving family include two daughters, Kelly (Mark) Mitchell, Veedersburg IN; Karen (James) Robertson, Brownsburg IN; four grandchildren, Andrew Mitchell, Trent Mitchell, Kelsey Robertson, Justin Robertson; two brothers, Rich (Doreen) Moschel, PA; Gary (Sharon) Moschel, PA; three sisters, Ann (Thomas) Reeder, PA; Eleanor “Lucky” Polston, AZ; and Linda Reynolds, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Lightle February 15, 2014; her parents; two brothers, Vern Moschel, Kenny Moschel; two sisters, Georgia Eckoff, and Jean Moschel. Judy had spent her life caring for elderly people, along with maintaining their homes, and flower gardens. She was in the employ of Joan Harrison Freed for over 25 years, and had worked for Patty Lee at Lee’s Buffalo Farm. She enjoyed working in her own flower gardens, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 pm Monday February 24, 2014 at Sterling Christian Church 109 N Eagle St. Veedersburg IN. Funeral service is 12:00 Noon Tuesday February 25, 2014 at Sterling Christian Church with Pastor Gary Johnson officiating. Burial will follow service at Rockfield Cemetery.
