  Jenny Lee Hayman, 79, passed away 10:25pm Wednesday April 30, 2014 at her residence near Veedersburg IN. Mrs. Hayman was born October 25, 1934 in Chattsworth IL the daughter of Leonard Brooks and Nona Virginia (Taylor) Harvey. She married Charles E. Hayman December 5, 1951 in Sterling, IN. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles Hayman 11/17/2003, daughter Aimee Elaine Waldron 04/06/2003, four brothers, and one sister. Surviving family include five daughters, Cindi Ellis, Veedersburg; Virginia Hayman, Veedersburg; Rebecca (Aaron) Barnhill, Grandin MO; Mary (Richard) Powell, Veedersburg, Marcia (Bob) Hannon, Attica; three sons, Ronald Hayman (fiancé Kim Cunningham), Wingate; Robert Hayman, West Lafayette; Charles (Robyn) Hayman, Georgetown IL; two sisters, Florence Northcutt, Crawfordsville; Vicki Wagoner, Plainfield IN; brother Mike (Diana) Harvey, Spencer IN; 27 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Jenny graduated from Veedersburg High School. She had been employed as secretary at Hayman’s Garage, and was more recently employed 16 years at the Waters of Covington prior to her retirement. She was an active member of the Sterling Christian Church, and member of the Covington Chapter O.E.S. Jenny enjoyed reading books, working different types of puzzles, dancing, fishing, and being outdoors. Most of all she loved and enjoyed her family and grandchildren. Visitation will be 4:00 – 8:00 pm (EST) Sunday May 4, 2014 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg IN. O.E.S service will begin at 7:45pm Sunday. Funeral service is 1:00 pm (EST) Monday May 5, 2014 at Dickerson Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt Hope Cemetery in Covington.
