Clarence McClure

Clarence McClure, age 89 of Veedersburg, IN died at 1:15 p.m. on Friday, June 20, 2014 at St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital. Clarence was born on December 18, 1924 in Fountain County, IN. He was the son of Harold and Bertha (Van Leer) McClure. He was a lifelong resident of Veedersburg and served in the US Army. He married Reatha Cox and they later divorced. He was a farmer and worked at the Veedersburg Brickyard and Fountain Foundry. Surviving are, 1 son, Robert McClure of Veedersburg, IN 6 daughters, Marilyn Harvey, Linda Lowry, Sylvia Merrill all of Veedersburg, IN, Karon Grimes and Sharon McClure of Crawfordsville, IN and Sandy Musser of Veedersburg, IN 1 sister, Helen Maynard of Cleveland, OH 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, 1 sister and 1 granddaughter. Private family services will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery at a later date.
