Miriam L Luke

Miriam L. Luke, 99, of Covington, passed away 12:30 pm Monday August 25, 2014 at The Waters of Covington. Mrs. Luke was born July 31, 1915 the daughter of Frank and Sadie (Bryant) Luke in Washington Indiana. Miriam graduated from Covington High School and had been employed throughout her life as a legal secretary and as a professional genealogist. She was a member of the Covington United Methodist Church, the D.A.R., and the Fountain County Genealogy Society. She is preceded in death by her parents, a step-mother Edith Luke; two sisters, Frances Ferguson and Marie Romine. Graveside service will be 11:00 am Friday August 29, 2014 at Mt Hope Cemetery in Covington with Pastor Kenneth Jones officiating. Dickerson Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
