Nadine Marie Holt

Nadine Marie Holt. 81, formerly of Veedersburg, passed away 2:15 AM Monday October 13, 2014 at Plainfield Health Care in Plainfield, IN. Mrs. Holt was born April 7, 1933 in Veedersburg IN the daughter of Berle Ray and Velma L. (Florey) Shoaf. In 1951 she married Joseph Charles Holt in Veedersburg; he has preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by an infant daughter Mary J. Holt, and a brother C.K. Shoaf. Surviving family include a daughter, Vicki Warrick, Covington IN; a son Dan (Diana) Holt, Danville IN; a sister, Bea Wilson, Hillsboro IN; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Nadine graduated from Veedersburg High School in 1951, and had always enjoyed singing in groups and choirs throughout her younger years. She was a member of the Sterling Christian Church and had also attended New Liberty and the First Christian Church in Veedersburg. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday October 16, 2014 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon Thursday and continue until the time of service.
