Dario J Baker

Dario J. Baker, 44, of Jamestown and formerly of Veedersburg, passed away January 23, 2015 at his parent’s residence near Veedersburg. He was born October 10, 1970 in Manila, Phillipines; and was married December 2, 1995 to Anna M. Kovach in Greenwood, IN. Surviving family include his parents, Robert J. & Nancy J Baker, Veedersburg; wife Anna M. Baker, Jamestown; daughter, Meagan N. Baker, Lafayette; two grandmothers, Doris Baker, Covington; Hester Newnum, Veedersburg; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many special friends at IU Health in Carmel and Grace Church in Lebanon. Dario graduated from Fountain Central High School in 1991, and Vincennes University in 1994. He had been employed as a Surgical Tech at IU Health Springmill in Carmel IN since 1994.He was a member of Grace Church in Lebanon IN. In his spare time he enjoyed riding his bicycle long distances, and playing his trombone in the Boone County Community Band. He was a fan of Colts football and Illini Sports. More than anything he loved his daughter Meagan and was her biggest fan. Funeral service will be 6:00 pm Monday January 26, 2015 at Grace Church 3001 Elm Swamp Road Lebanon IN 46502, with Pastor Ken Collins and Pastor James Furr officiating. Visitation will begin at 2:30 pm Monday at Grace Church and continue until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be given to Grace Church.
