Russell E "Butch" Vice

Russell E. "Butch" Vice, 74, of Veedersburg, passed away 8:00 pm Wednesday July 15, 2015 at St Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette Indiana. Russell was born September 14, 1940 in Lafayette IN the son of Ethmer R. and Mary K. (Rollins) Vice. He married Madonna M. Morgan July 18, 1964 in Otterbein, IN. He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister Janet Vice Jessie; and a granddaughter, Beth Clark. Surviving family include his wife, Madonna M. Vice, Veedersburg; three daughters, Diana (Phil) Dotson, Hillsboro; DeVonna (Kenneth) Fowler, Mt Olive, NC; Sandra (Robert) Clark, Cocoa FL; a son Ronald Vice (fiancé Kelly Christian) , Hillsboro; a sister Mary Alice Northern, Maden NC; a brother Rollin (Udena) Vice, Logansport IN; thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and two “fur babies” Little Man and Speckles. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps for six years, and was employed as an over the road truck driver for many years by several different companies. A Celebration of Life service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday July 25, 2015 at the United Methodist Church in Hillsboro IN. Arrangements entrusted to Dickerson Funeral Home.
