Izetta M Douglas

Izetta M. Douglas, 88, of Veedersburg, passed away 4:22 pm Sunday August 9, 2015 at her residence with her family at her side. Mrs. Douglas was born March 14, 1927 in Veedersburg, IN the daughter of Charles and Edith May (Shirley) Stonebraker. She married Gordon L. Douglas May 25, 1946 in Covington, IN; he has preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by seven siblings. Surviving family includes a daughter, Rita (Dick) Oldani, Veedersburg; two sons, Sonny (Jennie) Douglas, Attica IN; Jeff (Elaine) Douglas, Veedersburg;two sisters, Beverly Keeling, Veedersburg; Eleanor West, Veedersburg; two brothers, Larry Stonebraker, Covington; Charles (Carol) Stonebraker, Veedersburg; five grandchildren, Page Griffin, Missy Krauss, Angela Oldani, Sam Douglas, Kimberly Douglas; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Hafeez and staff at the south clinic, Heart to Heart Hospice nurses and caregivers for the special care that had been given to Izetta. Graveside service will be 11:00 am Saturday August 15, 2015 at Rockfield Cemetery near Veedersburg with Pastor Garland Pannell officiating.
