Wayne Corey

Wayne Corey, age 75 of Kingman, IN, a current resident at The Waters of Covington, died at 8:30 p.m. EDT on Friday, March 20, 2009 at St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital. Wayne was born in rural Veedersburg, IN on December 20, 1933. He was the son Dan and Zola (Lincoln) Corey. He had lived in Kingman most of his life and had resided at The Waters of Covington the past several years. He had worked for Corey Sawmill in Kingman. Wayne is survived by, 1 brother, Guy Junior Corey of Kingman (wife: Zedy); a special friend, Cindy of Covington; and several nieces and nephews. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, Hazel Haggart, and 3 brothers, Lee, Bob and Jake Corey. Visitation will be at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg on Monday, March 23, 2009 from noon until 1:00 p.m. EDT with graveside services to immediately follow at Rockfield Cemetery with Paul Kent officiating.
