Gerald W Lowery Sr.

Gerald W. Lowery Sr., 59, of Veedersburg, passed away 1:02 PM Friday February 5, 2016 at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette Indiana. He was born December 19, 1956 in Crawfordsville Indiana the son of Daniel E. and Mary M. (Hughey) Lowery. His father and a brother Frank Lowery have preceded him in death Surviving family include his mother Mary M. Lowery, Veedersburg; a daughter, Lisa D. Lowery, Georgetown IL; a son Gerald W. (Vicki) Lowery Jr., Veedersburg; a brother Jerold (Pam) Lowery, Portland Arch, IN; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Gerald had been employed at Fountain Foundry in Veedersburg for 36 years. In his spare time he enjoyed attending the local stock car races and driving his golf cart around the neighborhood. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Funeral service will be 7:00 PM Tuesday February 9, 2016 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM Tuesday and continue until the time of service. Burial will be at a later date in Bonebrake Cemetery near Veedersburg.
