Thomas A Lovell

Thomas A. Lovell, 80, of Covington, passed away 2:18 PM Wednesday May 4, 2016 at Woodland Manor Nursing Center in Attica Indiana. Tom was born January 4, 1936 in Chicago Illinois the son of Walter W. Lovell Sr and Mary (Faulkner) Lovell. He married Shirley Sheppard June 5, 1957 and she preceded him in death February 14, 2005. His second marriage was to Carolyn S Kempf June 3, 2006. He is also preceded in death by his parents, a brother Walter W Lovell JR, a sister, Ruth Sutter, an infant daughter, Nancy Lovell, and a granddaughter, Emily L Morrison. Surviving family include his wife Carolyn S. Lovell, Covington; children, Cheryl (Don) Rudolph, Perrysville; Diane Lovell, Danville IL; Tom Lovell, Danville IL; Michelle Coutu, Danville IL; Renee (Clifford) Albea, Attica; Julie (Greg) Allen, Covington; Greg (Marla) Kempf, Hillsdale; Marcie Dewlen, Morton IL; Nancy (Travis) Tuggle, Covington; a brother, Jack (Karla) Lovell, Prescott AZ; 27 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Tom graduated from Covington High School and served his country in the US Air Force 1956 – 1960. He was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church in Covington. He had worked as a millwright at TeePak in Danville, retiring from there after 36 years of employment. In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors fishing and hunting. Funeral service will be 1:30 PM (EDT) Monday May 9, 2016 at Maranatha Baptist Church 1111 Harrison St Covington IN with Pastors Kenneth Jones, Kyle Allen & Dustin Woodrow officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM (EDT) Monday at the church and continue until the time of service.
