Bob J Coonse

Bob J. Coonse, 77, of Veedersburg, passed away 6:32 PM Friday July 8, 2016 at St Vincent Hospital in Williamsport, IN. He was born September 3, 1938 in Covington, IN the son of Lewis and Josephine (Ellis) Coonse. Bob had been employed at the Fountain Foundry in Veedersburg most of his life, up until his retirement around the year 2000. Surviving family include his long time companion of nearly 30 years, Alice Coonse, Veedersburg; a daughter Christina; three sons, Robert (Debbie) Coonse, Michael Coonse, Jeffrey Coonse; four sisters, Lou McKinney, Veedersburg; Lucille Meeker, Veedersburg; Karen Wire, Tilton; Diana Nelson, Danville; a brother, Dusty Coonse, Tilton; three step-daughters, Paula (Brad) Wheeler, Dana; Stacy Coonse (Chris Giffard), Georgetown; Linda (Keith) Cohoon, Oakwood; a step son, Bill Niccum, Ohio; step-grandchildren, Brandon (Kaitlyn) Barbetta, Shane Barbetta, Bradley Wheeler, Sabrina Wheeler, Matthew Giffard, Alaina Giffard, Kimberly Cohoon, Kayla Cohoon, Kassandra Cohoon; step great-grandchildren, Bentley Barbetta and Bryce Barbetta. Bob is preceded in death by a brother, Mugs Coonse; and a sister Mary Davis. Per Bob’s wishes cremation was chosen with no services to be held. Dickerson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
