Virginia C Meihls

Virginia C. Meihls, 72, of Veedersburg, passed away 12:50 PM Friday December 16, 2016 at her residence. Virginia was born March 16, 1944 in Crawfordsville, Indiana the daughter of Frank and Mary (Lister) Kolaiser. She married Darwin Cox July 20, 1962 and they divorced. She married Perry Milton Meihls August 29, 1979 and he preceded her in death. Surviving family include her mother, Mary Kolaiser, Hillsboro; a daughter, Lori (Tony) Ellis, Georgetown, IL; a son Bryan Cox, Veedersburg; two sisters, Delores (Arnold) Hancock, Stone Bluff; Rosemary (Leroy) York, Kingman. She is preceded in death by her father, husband, and a granddaughter, Katasha Brynn Ellis. Virginia graduated from Richland Township High School. She had been employed at the V.A. Illiana Health Care System in Danville IL and retired from there in 2009. She was a member of Sterling Christian Church in Veedersburg. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Thursday December 22, 2016 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Pastor Dave Sims officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon Thursday and continue until the time of service. Burial will follow service at Wolf Creek Cemetery near Wallace, Indiana.
