Randall E. Brook

Randall E. Brook, 68, died 8:22 pm Wednesday May 12, 2010 at his residence in Crawfordsville, IN following a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born October 27, 1941 near Kingman Indiana the son of William E. and Dorothy D. (Harriman) Brook. They have preceded him in death. He married Becky J. Richardson May 24, 1963 in Cates, Indiana. Surviving family includes his wife Becky Brook, Crawfordsville; two daughters, Denise (Brian) Bowman, Waynetown; Sara (Reece) Garcia, Round Rock, TX; a son, William (Vanessa) Brook, Centerville, OH; a brother, Orville (Vivian) Brook, Athens, AL; a sister Vicki (John) Whittington, Crawfordsville; five grandchildren, Kelsey Bowman, Cody Bowman, Jacob Brook, Connor Brook, and Jack Garcia. He is preceded in death by a grandson, Kyle Bowman. Randall graduated from Kingman High School in 1959. He was employed for 27 years as a meat cutter at Kroger in Crawfordsville before his retirement in 2004. Throughout his life he enjoyed flowers, gardening, and painting acrylic pictures. He also enjoyed vacationing and fishing near his retirement home in Florida. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Sunday May 16, 2010 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Pastor Kenneth Majors officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 – 8:00 PM Saturday May 15, 2010 at Dickerson Funeral Home. Interment at Kingman Fraternal Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Healthwell Foundation.
