Barbara Ann Kester

Barbara Ann Kester, 89, formerly of Veedersburg IN,  passed away 3:05 AM Wednesday December 4, 2019 at the Waters of Covington.

Barbara was born November 29, 1930 in Colfax, IN the daughter of Joseph W. and Gladys H. (Blacker) Holt.

Surviving family include two sons, Thomas Wayne (Yong Hui) Kester, Martinez, GA; John David (Carol) Kester, Cincinnati, OH; and five grandchildren.

Barbara graduated from Veedersburg High School in 1948.  Throughout her life she had been employed as a teller and bookkeeper at Union Savings in Crawfordsville IN.  She was an Avon Representative for 5 years, and a Certified Home Health Aid for 8 years.  She was a member of the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ in Veedersburg.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Saturday December 7, 2019 at Dickerson Funeral Home, 303 N Main St Veedersburg IN with Pastor Garland Pannell officiating.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home and continue until the time of service. Burial will be at Rockfield Cemetery near Veedersburg.  Memorial contributions may be given to First Christian Church.  Online condolences at www.dickersonfuneralhome.com
