Barbara E Nolen

Barbara E. Nolen, 88, formerly of Veedersburg, passed away 2:22 AM Thursday October 18, 2018 at St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Barbara was born July 17, 1930 in Danville, Illinois the daughter of Joseph and Ruby (Kaler) Jones. She married Robert E. Nolen August 1, 1949 in Sterling, Indiana; he preceded her in death March 29, 2008. She is also preceded in death by a grandson Travis Nolen. Surviving family include two sons, Robert Eugene “Nuck” Nolen, Covington; and Frank Lee Nolen, Monticello; three grandsons, Jason (Ashley) Nolen, James Nolen, Bryan Nolen; three great-grandchildren, Kaiden Nolen, Roman Nolen, Autumn Nolen; good friends Duane and Phyllis Woodrow, Barbara was employed at RMC in Attica for 17 years and at the Mustang Room in Veedersburg for 24 years. She had enjoyed attending the Nazarene Church while living in Veedersburg. Throughout her life she had always enjoyed working and was the type of person that liked to stay busy. More than anything she loved and enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 PM Monday October 22, 2018 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM Monday October 22, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Johnson officiating, burial will follow service at Rockfield Cemetery near Veedersburg.
