Deanna Lynne Powell

Deanna Lynne Powell, 59, of Veedersburg, passed away 11:58PM Sunday August 15, 2021 at her residence.

Deanna was born October 25, 1961 in Crawfordsville, Indiana the daughter of Donald Lee and Sharon Ann (Kendrick) Keller; they have preceded her in death.  She married Gene Powell August 18, 1979 in Covington, Indiana.

Surviving family includes her husband, Gene Powell, Veedersburg; a daughter, Rebecca Lee Ann (Jordan) Hall, Crawfordsville; a son, Benjamin James Powell, Veedersburg; a sister, Cynthia Lewin, Crawfordsville; a brother, Scott (Patty) Keller, Veedersburg; four grandchildren, Logan Hall, Halyn Hall, Shylah Hall, Bladen James Powell; and many nieces and nephews.

Deanna had been employed at Community Action in the school lunch program, and she enjoyed being involved with the school kids at Cayuga; earlier in her life she had worked as a waitress at local restaurants.  She had a keen interest in pigs, and enjoyed collecting pig figurines. More than anything she loved her family, especially her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
