Jack Lawrence Aikman, 86, formerly of Kingman IN, passed this life 2:17 PM Sunday December 18, 2022 at Fountain Springs in Covington, IN.
Jack was born May 9, 1936 in Peru, IN, the son of John and Kathryn (Wissinger) Aikman. He married Patricia M Summers January 6, 1979 in Indianapolis; she preceded him in death in 2012.
He is also preceded in death by an infant son, Jack Aikman Jr.
Jack graduated from Peru High School; and served his country in the US Navy 1956-1960.
Surviving family include a sister, Paula Nicol “Nikie” Starkey, Peru, IN; a step-son Mark Allan Fishero, Charlotte, NC; and a close friend Karen Seibold, Veedersburg, IN.
Per Jack’s request a private burial was held at Rockfield Cemetery near Veedersburg. Online condolences at www.dickersonfuneralhome.com
