Jean Dillon

R. Jean Dillon, 95, of Covington IN, passed away 4:40 PM Tuesday May 22, 2018 at the Waters of Covington. Mrs. Dillon was born July 6, 1922 in Veedersburg the daughter of David and Ruby (Hite) Clark. She married her husband of 63 years Clark Dillon August 25, 1940 in Geneva IN; he preceded her in death on October 7, 2003. She is also preceded in death by two granddaughters, Cindi Duncan, and Reva Richey; and two sisters, Connie Billingsley, and Phyllis Branaman. Surviving family include a son, Larry (Betty) Dillon, Crawfordsville; two daughters, Sharon Dudley, Monticello; Pam (Leon) Snyder, Hillsboro; nine grandchildren, plus several great and great-great grandchildren. Jean graduated from Veedersburg High School in 1940. She worked for many years with her husband as a bookkeeper at Dillon & Dillon Implement in Hillsboro. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Covington. Jean was a very social person and had enjoyed attending the activities at the Senior Center in Covington, she also enjoyed family reunions and any other occasions where she could visit and spend time with her family. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Friday May 25, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Covington with Pastor Michael Hohenstein officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM Friday May 25 at the church and continue until the time of service. Burial will be at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Online condolences at www.dickersonfuneralhome.com
