Joyce A. McElwee, 73, of Veedersburg IN, passed away 5:06PM Monday December 23, 2024 at Franciscan Health in Lafayette, IN.
Joyce was born near Glasgow, Kentucky June 27, 1951 the daughter of Arthur and Ada (Lyle) Perkins. She married James L. McElwee May 3, 1970 in Veedersburg, IN.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister.
Surviving family include her husband James L McElwee, Veedersburg; four sons, James L McElwee Jr., Veedersburg; Shawn A (Ty) McElwee, Saginaw TX; Christian A McElwee, Veedersburg; Clayton T. McElwee, Denton TX; two brothers, Joe Perkins, KY; Jerry (Connie) Perkins, Mace IN; a sister, Janice Romeo, CT; four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
