Kayla R Amos

Kayla R. Amos, 29, of Veedersburg, passed away 9:55PM Friday March 15, 2019 at IU Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Kayla was born June 11, 1989 in Urbana Illinois the daughter of Michael Key and Marcie Bowling. She married Kevin D. Amos September 13, 2014 in Veedersburg, IN.

Surviving family include her husband Kevin D. Amos, and two children, Kendra LeeAnn Amos & Kaysen Dwayne Amos, all of Veedersburg; her father, Michael (Kim) Key, Spirit Lake, IA; her mother, Marcie (Ty) Bowling, Covington; a brother, Stephen James (Cate) Key, Pittsburg PA; a sister, Jessica C. Bowman, Veedersburg; and grandparents Richard & Myretta Garrigus.

She is preceded in death by a step-father, Bill Downs; and grandparents, TJ and Willie Key.

Kayla graduated from Georgetown-Ridge Farm High School in 2007. She had been employed at Fountain Central High School, and was a member of the Stone Bluff Community Church.

Kayla was a people person to the greatest degree; she adored her children and her family. She was a kind, loving, and selfless person who always had a smile on her face. She was always looking for opportunities to help others, and she simply loved living life.

Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 PM Monday March 18, 2019 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday March 19, 2019 at the funeral home with Pastor Daneen Rodriguez officiating; burial will follow service at Rockfield Cemetery near Veedersburg.
