Marilyn J. (Teeguarden) Taylor

Marilyn was born on May 27, 1932 in Holgate, OH the daughter of the late John Carl and Helen Irene (Tibbett) Teeguarden. Marilyn attended Veedersburg schools. She married David H. Taylor on September 20, 1950 by Rev. Howard in Veedersburg, IN and he preceded her in death on April 2, 2006.

Marilyn worked several years at Turkey Run State Park and Wallace Restaurant. She enjoyed talking with people, flea markets, garage sales, eating out, walking, collecting angels, her little dog named Cinny, but her most favorite thing in life was spending time with her family. She was the best mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She dearly loved each one and will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

Surviving are:

4 children, Faye (Tom) Foley of Noblesville, IN, Renita Rowing of Columbus, IN, Gina Taylor of Crawfordsville, IN, and Mark (April) Taylor of Wallace, IN;

Daughter -in-law, Cathy Taylor of Crawfordsville, IN;

7 grandchildren, Robyn Foley, Stacy (Vincent) Maglio, Jason Wirth (Sarah Pollitt), Deborah Wirth, Kayla Wirth, Ashley (David) Olsen, and Zachary Taylor;

12 great-grandchildren;

Sister-in-law, Jo Teeguarden of South Carolina;

Several nieces and nephews

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David; brother, Marion Teeguarden; brother, Max (Hilda) Teeguarden; son, J. David Taylor; and son-in-law, Richard Rowing.

Visitation will be held at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until funeral service time at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Tim Lyons officiating. Interment will follow at Rockfield Cemetery in Veedersburg, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
