She is preceded in death by a brother, Donald Perigo; and a sister, Helen Kellogg.

Olive grew up in the Waynetown area, and that is also where she spent her early married years with Bill until they moved to rural Veedersburg in 1947. She enjoyed raising her family on their farm, and working alongside Bill whenever she had the opportunity.  She enjoyed working in the garden and canning what she had raised; she also enjoyed crocheting, playing the piano, and being involved in the local quilt club for many years in Veedersburg. She was a long-time member of New Century Church.

A private family graveside service will be held at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery; and a public memorial service will be held next spring at New Century Church near Veedersburg. The family ask that instead of flowers, memorial contributions be given to New Century Church; directed to Val Hoagland 395W 200S Veedersburg IN 47987.
