Patsy D Hobaugh

Patsy D. Hobaugh, 81, of Covington and formerly of West Lebanon, Indiana passed away 12:05 AM Saturday November 9, 2019 at the Waters of Covington.

Patsy was born August 29, 1938 in rural Warren County, Indiana the daughter of Fred and Eva Louise (Wells) Hoskins. She married Larry Allen Hobaugh September 15, 1956 at Galloway Chapel in Warren County.

She is preceded in death by her husband Larry, her parents; a step-mother Geraldine Hoskins, who was like a second mother to her; two sisters Anne VanLeer, Joyce Humphreys; and two brothers, Freddy Hoskins, and Dale Lee Hoskins.

Surviving family include two daughters, Sherri (Jeff) Lawrence and Lisa (Eric) Osborn; a special Aunt Evelyn Thompson;  six grandchildren, Leslie Peterson, Duane (Emily) Peterson, Tyler (Sylvia) Mullins, Shannon Mullins, Eric M (Tori) Osborn, and Amy (Todd) Turner; nine great-grandchildren, Charlee, Koda, Marquess, Darlene Lou, Trexton, Tarek, Anna Lou, Adalyn, baby Everett, and baby due in 2020.

Patsy graduated from West Lebanon High School in 1956. She was employed for many years as a medical transcriptionist at both St Elizabeth Hospital and USMC in Danville IL prior to her retirement. She was a long-time member of the West Lebanon Nazarene Church where she was very active in the ladies ministry, nursery, and as a greeter; more recently she was attending the Covington Church of the Nazarene.

Throughout her life she had enjoyed gardening and her family; more than anything she loved and enjoyed her grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 3:00 PM Sunday November 10, 2019 at the Covington Church of the Nazarene 1203 Washington St Covington IN 47932 with Pastor Rich Stadler officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 to 3:00 Sunday also at the church. Burial will follow at West Lebanon Cemetery. Online condolences at www.dickersonfuneralhome.com
