Richard Lee Perry

Richard Lee Perry, 76, of Veedersburg IN, passed away Thursday April 6, 2023 at IU Health in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Richard was born December 24, 1946 in Crawfordsville, IN the son of Henry N. and Elizabeth Ann (McMasters) Weber; they have preceded him in death.

Richard graduated from Veedersburg High School in 1965. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Throughout his life he had been employed in the maintenance department at Olin and Flexel; after the closing of Flexel he was employed at Steel-Grip until his retirement in 2009.

He enjoyed riding several different motorcycles for many years; he also enjoyed watching any and every sporting event on television. He was a member of the VFW Post #2395, and the American Legion.

Surviving family include his daughter, Elaine Wright, Veedersburg; two grandsons, Chase Bowling and Austin Wright.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Saturday April 15, 2023 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg IN, with Visitation beginning at 11:00 AM and continuing until the time of service at 1:00. Burial will be at Cold Spring Cemetery near Veedersburg with military honors provided by the USAF and American Legion Post#288. Online condolences at www.dickersonfuneralhome.com
