Ronnie Lee Davis

Ronnie Lee Davis, 83, of Veedersburg, IN; passed away 12:18 PM Saturday March 25, 2023 at St Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis, IN.

Ronnie was born November 10, 1939 in Covington, IN, the son of Herman Orville and Mertle Jane (Evans) Davis; they have preceded him in death.

He is also preceded in death by two brothers, Orval Davis, and Don Davis. 

Surviving family include his companion of 49 years, Mary Lowery, Veedersburg; two brothers, Sam (Connie) Davis, Covington; Larry (Sandy) Davis, Veedersburg; a sister, Pat Wigley, Veedersburg; four step-grandchildren; fourteen step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Ronnie had been employed at many area businesses, Fountain Foundry, Fountain County Highway Garage, and Masterguard to name a few. Ronnie will be remembered by some as a stubborn man with an ornery streak; when he was younger he would chase his sister and lock her in the bathroom, always letting her out once she began yelling.

Ronnie loved being outside and going on walks; he also loved driving his car around the community.
