Sylvia M. Pritchard

Sylvia Maye Riley Pritchard, 87 of Williamsport and formerly Veedersburg and Kingman, joined her family in heaven Wednesday May 28, 2025 at Williamsport Nursing and Rehab. 

She was born September 10, 1937 in Fountain County Indiana the daughter of Franklin Merle Riley and Vera Geraldine Abernathy Riley. Sylvia was a very strong, caring, generous lady, she loved her family fiercely and adored her grand and great grand children. If someone came in hungry, she fed them, if they needed clothes, she gave them. She worked at many sewing factories before becoming an in home care giver for many years. Sylvia was an excellent cook, baker and canned all vegetables from their large garden each year in Kingman. She loved playing bingo, working puzzle books, sewing, taking drives for ice cream and looking for deer in the fields. 

Sylvia leaves behind 2 sons, Tony (Kathy) of rural Covington and Roger of Crawfordsville, 1 daughter Marsha Stembaugh of Covington. Grandchildren Jeremy, Jessica, Jennifer, Justin, Alan, Ashley, Brittany and Jozef and several great grandchildren. Meeting her in heaven, 2 sons Chuck and Brian, grandchildren Jason, Toni Renee, Jacob and LynLee Maye, her parents and several siblings. 

Her passing leaves many broken hearts, a lady like her is rare to find.
