Vonda G Barker

Vonda G. Barker, 72, of Veedersburg, passed away 5:30 AM Tuesday September 4, 2018 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born September 30, 1945 in Indianapolis, IN the daughter of William Ray and Mary (Davenport) Waller. They have preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her husband Ira P “Bill” Haymaker; two infant siblings, Juanita Waller, Wesley Waller; three brothers, Jerry, Larry, and William Ray “Butch” Waller; and a great grandson William Haymaker. Surviving family include three sons, Mark A. (Lisa) Haymaker, Veedersburg; Robert L. Haymaker, Covington; Joseph L. (Debbie)  Haymaker, Covington; a daughter, Dena Hinote, Crawfordsville; two step-sons Terry P. Haymaker, Lafayette; Tony D. Cathy) Haymaker, West Lafayette; three sisters, Linda Gilham, Sandra (Luther) Collins, Sharon Collins, all of Indianapolis; a brother, James (Brenda) Myers, Indianapolis; numerous grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Vonda had been employed at Fountain Foundry in Veedersburg and Essex Wire in Lafayette. She loved being outdoors and had enjoyed camping earlier in her life. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Saturday September 8, 2018 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Pastor Tim Lyons officiating.
