Wanda Lou Keyes

Wanda Lou Keyes, 85 of Veedersburg Indiana passed away on Thursday, March 5th, 2026 in Williamsport, Indiana.

She was born on June 9th, 1940 in Attica and was the daughter of Angus and Bertha Butler (Eck) .

Wanda grew up in Attica and graduated from Attica High School in 1958. She married Carl F. Keyes in 1956 and they enjoyed 42 years of raising a loving family until Carl’s passing in 1998.

She was employed by Indiana Bell for several years, and was a pharmacy tech at St. Clair Hospital in Crawfordsville.

Wanda enjoyed traveling, particularly trips to Florida. She enjoyed working puzzles and enjoyed taking care of her family and spoiling her grandchildren.

Wanda is survived by her son Carl V. (Shelly) Keyes, daughter Alys Rene Keyes, grandchildren Malcolm( Allison) and Leslie (Alex) Keyes, William (Jennifer) Burdine; and great-grandchildren Kalvin, Jadon and Alexis Burdine.

She was preceded in death by husband Carl, her parents, 5 brothers and 1 sister.

A visitation will be held at Dickerson Funeral Home, 303 N. Main Street, Veedersburg, Indiana on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026 from 11:00AM until 1:00 PM followed by her funeral service at 1:00PM. Burial will be at Union Christian Cemetery, 1213 Aylesworth Road, Richland Township.
